The new graphics style...
I don't think the charm of the first game is going to be there with these new graphics.

Yeah, I got the same feeling as well. The limited polygon look of the original was very distinct and had a sense of personality about it.

The screenshots and the trailer seem kinda... Generic.

I feel like they sacrificed a unique aesthetic for a raw graphical upgrade that unfortunately wiped it's visual identity in the process.

I definitely think the art style was what made the game unique. The second game now looks like a cheaply made generic game rather than an indie game with a lot of character and charm. I did enjoy the first one alot but such a lack of character from the second is making me rethink getting it.

Was thinking the same thing, atleast it has 4 players now though.

This was my first thought when I saw the screenshots too. It just looks sort of... "meh"

Tbh this style is fine for me, as long as it remains as brutal. For me it was the gameplay and playing it with bros which made it so incredible fun. Now with 4 players all the better.

The game needs A lot of game play changes i mean the combat looks like it wont grab me and it's almost the same as the first, if its just a new coat of paint idk if IL even bother.

FTK is one of my favorite games of all time, and unfortunately I find myself agreeing about the new art style (or at least the soulless fortnite character models)

I like it. I also liked the first.
They didn't need to upgrade it, certainly, but I don't dislike the mildly more detailed look

Wasn't the first game just a generic low poly character asset pack?
Not that that was a problem, but these new graphics actually look custom and a lot less generic

I like it a lot the first game felt low budget asf

I find it the opposite, This feels like a low budget trying to look high budget, which makes it look generic

i don't see the problem. .

alls i'm hoping for is to have more character customization options.
like the OG let you change the colors on your clothies , but each clothing item had 2 colors on its palette and you could only change one of the colors. in the customization options, it even says "edit main color" as if to imply that there is a "secondary color" that you can edit as well, but there isn't one, so you might have clothing that has a brown vest with an undershirt and you can change the color,of the undershirt, but the vest will always be brown.

i hope they let you change both colors in this version.
also, add more colors to the palette

I like it, proper body proportions and magical atmosphere. In fact I like screenshots a lot more than the first one which looked a bit too cartoonish.

meh, i suspect the folks who like the old style and want it to stay the same are just hardcore OG grognards who want more of the same. .

Tbh i think they should have kept the tiny characters with overall bigger heads thing and stylyze it even more than, than trying to make it more realistic.
