What happened to the release? Got it pushed backwards? Is it canceled? ???

All I have is the grey play area and a zero showing at the top left corner of the screen. Nothing else. No menus, no tiles to place, nothing. I can move around with the WASD keys and zoom in and out with the +/- keys but that's it. I've moved the mouse around in the hope of pop-up menus, but nothing. Also, there's no way to exit except via Task Manager. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, verified files, but nothing. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks....

It will be more fun if the game has some achievements :)
