Not sure why they wouldn't just swap to the unreal anti cheat but its up to them... Currently the anti cheat software does not cause any obvious issues.
You can easily check for it yourself by running it in a vm with the vm identifier removed (not sure if that part is needed, but usually anticheat check for vm graphic driver or registry entry added by the vm utility tools so just google "hide virtual machine from a program" and set of instructions will be there. From there, just monitor the disk activity on the vm using a management tool and youll see all that the evil anticheat is accessing.
The network stream itself is encrypted but there wasnt enough data sent to include a copy of my ssd, that much im 100% confident in, hell even a copy of my ram is out of the possibilities.
