- In Chapter 6, after permission to go up is granted, before going up, visit the garden behind the bar. Get close to Cocoa and go inside the corner.
- Stuck inside the corner and the invisible hitboxes block me from getting out.
- The corner hitbox should be blocked properly, or entering and leaving should be allowed.

- Play the game as normal
- The transition screens between chapters appear to broken. For example, after the [REDACTED] chapter I can see there's another screen that says "1 Month Later" but its very faded and hard to see. Almost like there's a dim plane on top of everything or the opacity for these screens are turned down low. Is that intended?
- I expect that the transition screen should be clear and easy to read

You might need to crank the brightness to see it.
EDIT - I just wanted to clarify, this appears only in [REDACTED] I can barely make out "One Month Later" and "Insert Intro Sequence Here" and then "Chapter 1" is totally fine.
I saw you post this on discord :)
It's actually wild you can see this!! Thank you for posting this. Can you tell us...
- What display hardware you're using?
- On the hardware, what your display settings are? (Brightness / gamma)
- In game, what display settings (brightness / gamma) you have it set to?
Funny side note -- we weren't able to see these on all Switch Models, when we were testing. So you've unlocked some magical combination of hardware/settings to see these remnants / easter eggs of development!

What happened: Three times so far during the communion in chapter 4, the game crashed to desktop. The crashes were at different points: one right at the beginning, one after talking to Knower the first time, one in the room with two suns. After a crash, 1000xRESIST or any other game I try to play runs very slowly, crashes soon after launch or doesn't launch at all (tried several Steam games and one from GOG). Other programs like web browsers, Discord and the Steam client still work. Rebooting doesn't fix this, but a few minutes after rebooting, my PC gets a BSOD and restarts. After that restart, everything goes back to normal. After the second of those BSODs and forced restarts, I played other games for several hours with no problems, and when I tried 1000xRESIST again, it crashed after ten minutes or so.
Expected behavior: It shouldn't crash.
I was really enjoying it before this, so I hope this is fixable!
So I'm not sure exactly what was causing the problem, but switching to windowed mode, turning off vsync and putting resolution and shadows on the lowest settings let me finish the chapter without further crashes. And I have another bug to report!
What happened: In chapter 6 part 3, saving, quitting and later reloading caused waypoint markers that had disappeared after I exhausted all the dialogue for the characters they pointed to to reappear. I still couldn't talk to those characters, and still got the achievement for talking to all of them once I had done so over the course of two play sessions. This is the first time I didn't play through a whole chapter in one sitting, so I'm not sure whether this can happen during other parts of the game.
Expected behavior: Waypoint markers that were cleared should still be cleared after saving and reloading.
- Build version: 1.15626
- Your Hardware Specifications: RTX 3060, AMD Ryzen 7, 16GB RAM
- Controller Type: DualSense
- Reproduction Steps: Unsure
- What happened: When waking up in the room the second time in chapter 6, an invisible wall didn't allow to get out of the building. Saving and reloading twice fixed it.
- Expected behaviour: be able to exit the building.

P.S. I'm loving this game so much, great work! ❤️
Thank you for reporting this!!
For the crashes, I'm really not sure what might be causing that! On your laptop, do you have a high-refresh rate screen?
Have you tried capping the frame rate?
My hunch is some bad interplay between vsync, a high refresh rate screen (possibly), and uncapped framerate, pushing your laptop to overheat! Let us know if any of these help :)
Thank you!! And thank you for reporting this :)
Build version: 1.15626
Your Hardware Specifications: i7-12700f, 64GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti
Controller Type: Xbox 360 Controller
What happened: Y-axis inversion not working on controller only when setting changed
Expected behaviour (what you think should have happened!): Y-axis inverted when set to yes in settings
Reproduction Steps: Change settings back and forth, confirm changes working with mouse/keyboard. Confirmed same issue occurs with X-axis, repeated previous steps to reproduce
I've tried:
- native dualsense via cable (doesn't seem to use any specific features like adaptive triggers or haptics)
- native dualsense via bluetooth
- steam input via bluetooth
- steam input via cable
Plugging out my keyboard and mouse is the only thing that seems to help, however using any of steam's chords that simulate kbm causes the game to behave erratically again
Sounds like maybe I've had something similar to this, with an Xbox controller though. Can't unplug my KBM currently as I'm trying to play on a laptop but the flickering between kbm/gamepad icons sounds the same; I can only make any selections using the mouse. None of the gamepad buttons do anything other than cause flickering in the menu.
Thanks for reporting these you two!
For helping us troubleshoot: does this still occur if you toggle Steam Input Off (or On)?
Thank you for reporting this! We will look into it!
