Basically, when I go to the bordello to talk to someone for the main quest, my character says that I should take care of any unfinished business before I proceed. This leads me to believe that I'm supposed to finish all of the other quests I currently have before moving on if I want to experience everything the chapter has to offer.
How are players supposed to know when a quest has been taken as far as it can in a given chapter? You might want to think about how you could amend the quest text to indicate this.
Looking forward to coming back to this game after a few good patches!
Thanks for the feedback, yep we're thinking on ways we can redesign the narrative and task UI to better indicate which tasks can be completed in the current chapter versus ones that carry over and story critical ones vs. side quests.
Thanks for playing we didn't give up on it, we're working on a more substantial update including localizations, console porting, and a Director's Cut with VO, more comic panels, and some other changes. But it's taking some time.
Will probably push out some QoL changes sooner, will see what we can do.
Thanks again for the kind review. Thought I'd follow up here too, there is a run button; double clicking on mouse or holding down the right trigger on controller. There's also a gameplay option you can enable for "always run"
Thanks for playing!
