There is a mushroom npc that gives the hint about the iron key which is something like, "There's a key under the Big Germ's arena", which, as you may have guessed, is where the key is located. The Big Germ is a boss that you fought in the Color Caverns I believe (There should be other germs all around the place), but the secret itself is below the bosses' arena. The key is not in this secret, it's a secret within that secret on the left wall.
Regarding the Teleportation Wand... I found it naturally in a hidden wall somewhere, so I don't really remember. Sorry about that.
The underwater passage requires you to have the ability to breathe underwater, obviously. This ability can be found back in the starting room where you first spawned. You may notice when you get there, that it's way too high to reach, this however, is a lie to yourself. In reality, I know of 3 ways to get up with what you currently have, all of which require either unexplained tech or tight timing using spells that you parry. The spell that I have achieved this with is Bouncy Ball , but I believe based on things I have read that you could also use Spark Ball and Bouncy Spore to get up. Good Luck with that.
The right-most corner. Dreaded. I hate it. You have everything you need to get up it. I did it first try and was like, "Wow, that was satisfying. I'm gonna try that again." and then proceeded to fail for about 10 minutes straight. Upwards dash and wall bounces are all you need. I sincerely wish you good luck on this as it's the most annoying thing in the game that I've seen so far. At least imo.
I am not exactly sure which top-middle section you mean, since you didn't specify, but I think I might know. If it is the really long room in the corrupted area with spikes all along the floor, then keep reading. If not, specify in a reply and I will help. I believe this room has 2 ways of doing it using different spells and parrying them. The way I did it was with the purple spinning spell , but I have read about people doing it with the Bouncy Spore spell, but idk how they did it.
The blue blocks. I honestly don't know if this is a developer oversight or not, but if you do the dash into spin, you can't break blue blocks. That is true, unless you hit the top blocks. I am not sure how this works exactly, but every time I aimed for the top of the blue blocks, the dash into spin was enough. The intended way, btw, is to use a wall bounce to get a bunch of speed and then dash and spin, but I didn't know how to do that in one room, so I figured out the above method.
Partly skill issue, but not for everything. It seems like you just didn't experiment with spells enough, but to be fair, I didn't even consider experimenting with them until presented with an impossible jump.
3. I got back to the initial area without using any spells or parry tricks. It's doable just with crouch jump + upwards dash + wall jump, used correctly.
