I remember seeing the initial trailers for Ascent: Infinite Realms, with its steampunk atmosphere, focus on aerial combat, and general attempt to do something different in the MMO space. In the end we got another pay-to-win, grindy fantasy MMO that was about as while bread as you could get.
The MMOs that do well are doing something interesting. You can't release games like Elyon and expect for it to be sustainable.
But why the hell you don't just sell us a game and THAT'S IT???
1. Elyon needet pvp balanced and the upgreadesysthem wahs katastrophe
2.Archeage wahs dying at many years with this problems ( workerpoints and to broken pvp balancet )
and the end of this is egoitics ignore the comm = dying game
I sent 5 tickets to support and told a billion times on kakaogames twitch lives this : Dont wait december (archer release) to balance the game Cause pve/pvp is connected. You cant make people wait several months to balance classes cause we cant farm decently. Also, breakable weapons had a wrong % chance, we all saw that. And honing in general was too punishing cause after u wait one week reset to retry an item, u have absolutely no assurance to succeed after 20 weeks. So if u are unlucky, u can stay like that for 1 year.
I said to them : Fix this NOW cause nobody is gonna wait archer release , the game is so unbalanced that this is unplayable. You never ever listened to me and others sayin the same. Im of those who quit the game before archer release (so long time ago) and now i see this message on steam. I had to write this cause the game had a good potential.
And you failed only because u were lazy or something, u refused to speed up a balancing patch. So now i say it, yes > > > > > > > >
You deserved the bankruptcy
When you realize the gamers market is now customer driven and you actually have to cater to them instead of making them cater to you by buying your unnecessary and shady pay2win cash shop items and falling for shady and scammy monetization practices.
Maybe work on making games that caters to what a large majority of players want and look for in a game rather than whalehunt a small minority.
Sans oublier les délicieuses OP avec les streameurs qui lâche vite le jeu une fois que le pognon est la prenais de vrai joueur de mmo pas juste des grosses tête qui se remplisse encore + les poches.
Even though I kind of understand their decision, I still think it is sad that we will no longer be able to play it, even those who enjoyed it for what it is. Especially since server costs are so cheap these days.
Atleast TERA had its server files leaked, meaning it can still be played...
KR studios might put more effort into delivering something more unique, with more depth, a better engine and less Pay-to-Win rather than copy/pasting an umpteenth MMO clone. It's not 2010 anymore.
This, it's why I never did a preorder for it. Not to mention too many of these cash shop MMO's exist in the market and here in NA we don't like P2W MMO's.
