Custom Battles will no longer load - Bug -
Hello everyone,

I have been playing around with custom battles and the amount of units that can be added. After trying out the map "Fields" with about 25 vehicles on each side , I tried to do the same with the "Railway" map. It made it to the load screen but it would not start into the custom battle. I restarted the game and now custom battle will no longer load at all. A "reinstall" did not solve the problem. I am using the latest beta version V 0.12420.

Same here, was working just fine until I tried to do a "Fields" custom battle with many, many vehicles. Since that time, I cannot play custom battles anymore.

The way to solve this problem is to remove all vehicles from the C: Documents\ My Games\Sprocket\Factions\Faction Green\Blueprints\Vehicles folder. (The folder where you store your design blueprints in). Restart the game and open custom battles. It should open. Most if not all vehicles should be gone. Now to get the vehicles back, add all the vehicles back to the documents/My Games... folder. This should restore the custom battles selectability back to normal. I guess there is currently a hard limit of how many vehicles can be spawned in custom battles.

It's logic.
The game loads the last tanks used in the last custom battle so if one or more of them gets corrupted for some reason, it crashes.
However, deleting the entire directory is nonsense, better cut/paste each faction folder one by one and run a game to see which one is messing up.
Once the faction is identified, we do the same with the faction's tanks.

I tried this. It didn't work. I also removed the steam file in the folder and turn off cloud saves. That still didn't help. When I click the Custom Battles button I get a flash of the menu on the right side of my screen. Even with all the factions removed. I can see just default tanks in the "flash" of the menu.

This bug started for me after a battle on Fields involving 36 tanks (12 on one side vs. 24 on the other) in which I tried exiting the battle after a defeat and the game hung up on the loading screen. After I shut down and loaded it back up is when the problem started.

Did not know this is such an old bug. I came out with the removing all blueprint folders method too, it works for me, twice too.

I found another fix. you have to go here C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\LocalLow\HD\Sprocket\CustomBattleSetup.json and delete the CustomBattleSetup.json. Deleting that file resets the custom battle setup you used the last time. I also heard that some people have that file missing.

There is no Custom Battle Setups folder because this folder will only be created when you save a setup. So people that did not save any setup can't use this fix.

The last selection of tanks used in custom battle is saved in this file as well and is loaded automatically when you click on custom battle. So removing it is a solution.
