Broken Faces?
I was editing the body and realized that i was only select the faces on the opposite side of the tank. Whats worse is that this persisted even to turret placement. When i click on the top it tries to place it on the inside face of the bottom of the chassis.

The faces are inverted, select the offending faces from the inside and hit invert, it's pretty finnicky right now since there's no "Invert all normals outward" option as far as I know.

I did have one situation where a face got completely glitched, and it needed to be deleted to have all the faces corrected.

It's pretty useless to be honest since even if the face is correct hitting invert doesn't make it face inwards.

What does invert even do?

Far as I can tell it attempts to turn the face outwards, which sucks cus sometimes whatever smarts it has can't work out how to do that. Would be better if it were more simple.

More in depth: in 3D modelling faces have "normals" which you can think of as the outside facing face of a... face, otherwise you'd be rendering the inside of a model as well as the outside which is not great, but in 3D modelling faces can be turned the wrong way for whatever reason, maybe you even want it to be turned inwards, so there's usually an "invert" or "flip" option for this.

So for now, if you can't select a face from the outside I THINK that hitting A and then Invert should fix it as it'll attempt to turn all faces out. Though I haven't had a lot of opportunities to test this.

I faced this issue, the only solution is to continue fiddling and save in between edits to eventually have it stick in the correct direction. It is a recognized issue. The invert face function is a temporary patch.
