but if you straight up mean an autocannon gun variant, then yea, i'd love that
Just because we understand this is a one-man-army dev does not mean we also cannot simultaneously be upset about lengthy delays on features that might not be everyone's cup of tea. (ofc that can be said too for autocannons, but how does that explain it being taken away from file edit?)
Woah hold off that anger kiddo.
Hi, Jackie. You can still file edit it in .2 by going to the loader and increasing (or decreasing, if you had reason to, which in one case I have) his efficiency value. 1.0 is the default. Above that is faster, below is slower. For slower, for example, I had a tiny coaxial spotting cannon that I would just hold down to get on target, but it would fire the next one before the first had hit, even with unmodified values. I went in and slowed it so that the first would hit just before the next fired. I made a 12mm autocannon (or slow HMG, if you prefer) by modifying the WW1 minimum down to 10mm, and increasing the loader efficiency to maybe 1.9, which gave about 72 RPM, full auto (faster is possible, but I wanted it slow). But what we are missing is the magazine size and long reload between, and that I would very much like to have.
Hope this helps!
