Sprocket

Sprocket

Week power
Is this game supposed to be this weak with the suspension and the suspension and the engine? I can't climb a hill. The engine size has been increased and the cylinder has been changed to the maximum. However, even if the horsepower increases, it cannot move when trying to pass a certain section.

what you're describing isn't just solved by having a big engine or anything, but more specifically by having proper gear ratios and sprocket size (and perhaps even track width, in some cases)
depending on the ratios, you can get more or less acceleration, torque, top speed, etc

there's a few guides in the steam community and probably some on the discord too that would help with this

how steep is the slope in question, and how heavy is the tank also do matter quite a bit as well

Increase the suspension angle so that you can approach steeper inclines. The post above already mentioned the importance of proper gearing.

Of course, I also don't think a huge heavy tank weighing more than 100 tons will climb a 50-degree angle. Of course, the gear ratio is set, but even the angle of inclination below 20 degrees cannot be raised. Above all, the heavier it is, the more the body sinks. I tried adjusting the diameter and length of the suspension, but it didn't work. Does it work?

I'll tell you, I made a tank 275 tons https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5p1jGTmNxvY and extended the track width, raised the suspension, and geared it so that it could climb 45 degree inclines and reach almost 40mph. So it is absolutely possible, just requires hours of tinkering.

Interesting, but it was impossible for me to try. Is there a special way? I've already tried everything, such as adjusting the track width and so on

One more, the conditions for climbing a hill above 40 degrees should be raised from rest. Is that possible?

Go into the suspension settings and you will see everything that you need. You can change the rest angle of the suspension. You can also go into the blueprints under the game files and then edit them in notepad if you need to go past what the game will let you.

after some experiments and reading some guides i can say that not only engine power and gear is important but track grip is essential . and wider tracks increase grip a lot (at the cost of a bit of speed)

I have a Question, How do you make custom enemies? Im tired of the short battles and repetitive Ai tanks. (a video link or short instructions will do).

Go into your game folder and you should be able to find the blueprints for the AI vehicles separated by weight class and era. You can add blueprints to those folders or just replace them altogether.
