Is there a way to delete the turret ring when placing generated turret?
I remember this being a thing on one of the older versions of this game, I hope it's still a thing. If not, this will probably be the last time I'll play this. Never will know how to do the free-form stuff. :/

P.S When I mean delete turret ring, on the older version of the game, it would connect to the hull and become part of the hull itself instead of a separate compartment.

you select all points or something, then translate it into the turret ring.
turrets also have sliders about ring dimensions if you search thoroughly.

As far as I know you cant merge Turrets and Hulls anymore because it broke the spacing, you can however, disable the traverse speed to 0.1 unfortunately it still turns just ridiculously slow. My suggestion is to just design a hull too look like its got a turret on it, without adding another turret compartment. Jagdpanthers and Stugs type deal.

You can set the arcs/constraints for the turrets to be 0-0 or something, can't you?

Yes. It will still count as a turret but it will be completely fixed. Thats what I do for some tanks. That or learn freeform is ur best shot op
