gameplay-wise it is functional and playable, just very simplistic arm. around ten scenarios with a bit of configuration if you mess with the files (namely fighting other kinds of tanks in a map), but additions arrive steadily and one of the closer features on the roadmap is a custom battle mode.
if you really want a lot of content there, this a tricky part. you must either have faith in the dev or hope it will seem complete enough before a price raise.
If you look at my profile you'll find I have several hundred hours in Sprocket, so I'd say the game is worth the money at its current price just going of hours played alone.
