Can you build monstrosities, tanks with 2 turrets, etc?

I'll get this game nonetheless, but wondering how crazy you can go with tank designs. Would be interesting to create some of the German WW2 mammoth tank prototypes.

Not anything you want, at least not yet, but still quite a lot.

Thanks for the replies. I can accept the limitations, but sure would be nice to have "unlimited" options, as far as super heavy tanks are concerned.

there should be a late war scenario with a 500 ton weight limit where you can fight enemy superheavies or just an utter horde of little tanks maybe as a bonus mission if performance is a real concern

It is possible but not functionally. You can scale up the anti-infantry turret for example.
