Dynamic Campaign
While of course the real meat of games like From the Depths, Airships: Conquer the Skies, etc is the designing aspect; the most satisfying parts of these games(atleast for me) is the context for the battles my designs take part in. When I'm not doing good in a campaign and I stack all my cards into a very important battle, the tension and outcome of the battle is all the more so satisfying(or heartbreaking!).

I would LOVE for a campaign featuring either a WW1/WW2 front and having to maneuver my tank divisions against the enemies, it'd make the battles(and operating/watching our designs) all the more satisfying. What if my designs could lead Germany to a quick victory against the Soviets? What if my designs could not only halt Germany's advance into the Benelux, but push them back? What if my tanks could beat the Allies and lead the Central Powers to victory? What if my tanks could make Italy not the underbelly of Europe? Yes please!

I love the idea of dynamic campaigns and want to see bigger and interlinked campaigns.
However, the game is based on tactical simulations, and coding a strategy game to interpret that may be quite difficult.

Also- tanks are just one weapon system in an intergrated fighting unit. No matter how powerful your tank is - it would have to face airpower, artillery, engineering obstacles, landmines competent infantry, bad weather, even more airpower and the the horrors of rail transport logistics (for those who like their tanks over 3m in width).
