The game has a "DiceBuilding" mechanic, based on boardgames like "Quarriors" and "Marvel Dice Masters". It's similar to "Deckbuilding" but with dice. You start with a basic dice deck (white color) and some equipment that varies according to the chosen class. The amount of dice in your bag does not equal the amount of equipment because basic (white) dice do not count as equipment. That's why you have less equipment than you have in the bag at the beginning of the game. The goal is to upgrade this dice deck more and more, to make it stronger. When you pick up new equipment, it's linked to a die, then you add that die to your dice deck, then you have the option of burning an old die. The advantage of this is that the more dice you have in your bag, the longer it will take to pick up and roll the "good" dice that are equipment. So as you burn the old, worse dice, the faster you can pick up and roll the new, stronger dice. Of course, you have the option to keep all the dice but it's not recommended due to the reason I explained above.
In the most I strongly recommend that you read the "How to play" calmly because there it explains better about how the game works. And about the other skills of the dice you can consult during the battle in the "?"
Thanks for playing Dice & Dungeons!
