Gunpla Customization looks cool. What about Avatar?

Curious if the Avatars are still the same pool as GB3. They were good, but mostly faceless mook suits, as it was mostly a cursor moving around, the menu/lobby, and not really something you used to interact with others. Of course, this is coming out after the West finally got some lovely dubs of the Build Fighters series, set in a similar universe to Breaker, so I'd love to see some more options...if nothing else I want to play as a Rommel in Blue Sphere clothing.

Unfortunately I think player avatars got nuked in 4, in favor of your gunpla being your avatar. A shame.

It does make sense though, why do it as multiple characters, when you are already customizing something so much? I will be the one marching around with a golden sheen on every part...and all of if will launch automatic guns that play the game for me. Ah, memories of GB3 when I wander into a room, and seconds later, all the mooks start exploding around me. Fun times.

tbh with us just hanging in the Hub anyway,I get the removal,like,I'd rather hang in my mech if I'm gonna hang in a scifi hub.

Think of it like most MMO's that allow you to customise your toon, this way you'll be in the mech you designed looking how you want to look as apposed to a basic pilot skin like everyone else. this is just robo fashion on the catwalk/hub area

I think this time I'd prefer my own customized MS roaming around the lobby or something, may as well show off your customized gunpla to other people.
