There's no PVP mode, however the bounty mode allows you to fight AI controlled gunplas that other players have uploaded.

not really a shame since not every game needs a tacked on pvp mode.
pvp tends to bring in the ass hats

Particularly elitist try-hards that spam attacks and rely on constant stun locks on everyone else and then saying the likes of "2 ezy" or "git gud".

I mean strong arming one side or the other makes you in ass hat in my book, I want everyone to have fun etc, I don't like cheesy try hards either but that doesn't mean the game would be less with a option for pvp

While you are theoretically correct (more modes equals more ways to have fun, right?), you have to realize that the Gundam Breaker series does not have the best history with PVP.

A lot of us still feel the sting of New Gundam Breaker, a game which eschewed a majority of the series established fundamentals in order to rebuild the gameplay entirely around an unbearably grindy, 3v3 team-based, PVP mode that Bandai Namco hoped would redefine the game as an "esports title." Even the single player content was comprised of that same PVP gameplay, just with you and your AI partners vs another team of AI (with really weird dating sim/visual novel segments interspersed in-between the missions).

At this point, it's best to let the team re-center themselves and bring everything back to the core gameplay that made the original 3 entries so beloved in the first place. Once they rebuild that trust, the community will probably be more open to seeing a PVP mode added in future installments... as long as they learn their lesson and don't make it the focus of the entire game.

Totally fair I never got to play NG breaker. All I know is I'm really sad there doesn't seem to be any good Gundam games out. They canceled Gundam Evo it wasnt the best but It was still fun they could have made it good.
Gundam Battle OP 2 is a P2W lag fest.
New mecha break game seems like its chalking up to be p2w
I just want a fun gd Gundamn game lol Im sure you get my sentiment. Ty for the history and clarification. never fun when a company decides to change the formula on players when the old one was perfectly fine and loved. Thats the reason the Lost Plant franchise died. One of my favs

i can understand wanting to have fun but no idea how pvp can be fun all it ever did was make me get mad at everything even when i won. so i stopped playing pvp games

Its generally a maturity issue, PVP is usually aimed a Younger Audience.

Its gotten worse with every Generation to the point you probably dont wanna play with a PVPer's Mentality.
Call Of Duty (Not even sure why i still play it...)Is generally the worst, but i cant say i met much better when i played World Of Warcraft.

also, the younger audience usually has better reflexes and will destroy you. :/

i said Usually, Not Always.

Aiming can sometimes beat Run and Gun :)
Its best that this game doesnt have PVP, I managed to make some extremely broken builds in 3

PVP mech games unfortunately don't last long. There have been many to come and go already. Did gundam BO2 even make it a year?
