What's the deal with "Gunpla"?
For this specifically, I knew the term before, admittedly never looked into it and just thought it's a generalised term...which is somewhat true but still only for Gundam itself.

What I mean more specifically is, the term is short for Gundam Plastic Models, but why call the Gundams in a game that are not supposed to be said plastic models (or toys if you will), called gunpla in the trailer? Has this been normal and I just haven't noticed or is this just a thing for the trailer? So far I think I ave only played the Gundam Warriors/Musou games and (2 of?) the fighting games on the first Playstation...don't think I have played more but I also haven't seen much of the other media so this may just be me lacking exposure. But clarification would be cool.

Ah ok, that makes sense, thanks! So it's more specific to this game and is "explained lore-wise" I guess...have missed that part somehow in the trailer, silly me...it should have been obvious with the chibi versions and stuff mixed in (I forgot if they're actually called that but I know they exist :P) so it *must* be spanning more iterations of the same things.
