IMPORTANT! Just hit the Post Game and I’m really shocked…
This game does nothing to explain the benefits of MG Parts. In breaker 3 it was full on spelled out “hey, here’s a literal new game mode with a WAY better grade of parts and skills to farm.”

Here it’s “congrats. Here’s a new difficulty that we’re slotting next to the vanilla ones. We’re not going to spell it out for new players that it allows farming for MG parts that have twice the stats of HG. Or that MG parts are now available in the shop. Work it out yourself or don’t.”

I hope they patch this because new players are likely gonna miss out on getting OP AF. If there’s an online competition mode new players are gonna get wrecked because they have no clue that that their puny HG build is gonna get destroyed by MG players in seconds.

People are going to clown on you when you're wrong. It's part of the circle of life.
If you think it's everyone else being dumb, I have bad news for you...

Dear Bandai Namco. For GB5, just translate it on your own again and make it import only. The faithful already did that for GB3 and this is why marketing to tourists and casuals doesn't work.
The translations for the skills and abilities initially in GB3 were just as nebulous in the English Asia release (and only KIND OF got clarified in updates/with Break Edition, but not very well) and required just as much testing and communication from other players to figure exactly what those abilities and stats even did.

Going back to making these games English Asia only clearly will not rectify this problem.

And you noobs need to understand years old gameplay mechanics don't get thrown out just because you're not familiar with them. You're playing Gundam Breaker and there's traditions that get upheld round here.

Brother, I played GB3 and loved it, but nobody cares. Chill out, man. It's a forum, not a grand jury....

Into NVM, there is no difference when hitting stat caps, besides size, since GB2. (since gb2, because people don't have to then use mg parts to get the best stats, aka good game design)

Learn to admit your mistakes.

Only mistake made here was overestimating the intelligence and dignity of this generation of noobs and that was already admitted to. I just hope bandai admits to it as well.

Think about it. You're upset because someone tried to do you a favor. Yeah. Don't worry no ones gonna be making that mistake again. ciao

I feel like this post game doesnt have any challenge. GB3 had extreme that introduced MG parts and then after you beat every mission on that, you got newtype mode that spit on your corpse after gms on the first mission blasted your ass immediately. The ai in gb3 felt a lot more responsive. You were always getting shot at and attack and your teammates actually did more than run around and stand still. gb4 newtype mode is basically the same as extreme mode. And only 36 story missions? They really dropped the ball on this game and i regret buying it at full price. Will probably go back and replay gb3 for a third time and get more out of it.

I just reviewed the game and said very much the same thing. Back in GB3 finishing the main game was the warm up, inferno mode was the main event. That's when you got all the really good optional skills and MG parts were based AF. Then you had the DLC missions if you got the break edition which just added so much more. Not to mention how freakin cool option parts were in Breaker 3 and how lame they are here.

Back in GB3 I eventually built up an unbeatable GPO2. maxed out firepower and shield firepower along with restore ammunition per damage and hit. I was unleashing nukes non stop on mobs with my shield and main weapon and 1vs1 whatever that combo didn't end immediately my ranged option parts built back up the ammunition gauge to unleash more arena filling AOA nukes.

I can't even remotely begin to replicate that same build in GB4 as it is now. Best build I have at the moment is giving unlimited awaken thanks to building it up per hit and defeated enemies, but they really need to add more and better abilities.

I like Breaker 4. I just don't love it the way I want too. I hope bandai is sitting on a lot of updates and add ons in the future because this game literally feels like half the game breaker 3 is.

You don't seem to be emotionally mature. You probably shouldn't be interacting with people.

Funnily enough, he also made the exactly same post on GB4 facebook group, got proven wrong by everyone, started flaming everyone, then left the group.

You're right there are more mistakes.
You were proved wrong and you can't admit it.
Blocked. No point wasting time on this.

They are. They ragequit a facebook group for people calling them out on their BS. It's blatantly clear that MG and HG are the same in GB4. It literally does not matter what you grab because there's a hard cap ceiling so low you can ram into it accidentally on HG parts before you even hit lvl 50 and max rarity. I'm casually solo running newtype boss rushes with people who spend 90% of their time face down in the dirt and dragging them over the finish line. So it's not even a case of 'not being end game'. What else is there for higher difficulty? Bounty missions? Ok sure, let me casually blow through 3 maxed out 50 suits no problem. What now? Am I still a 'noob' and there's somehow a higher difficulty level hidden beyond newtype? lol, even. Lmao maybe.
So as a lover of gb3(1stplaythrough on PS4 was 151 hours and srated 2 otherson PS5) and having played gb4 now for only 25 or 26 hours I'm already done with it. There are no interesting stats for parts and lvl 30 and 3% and 6% bonuses I barely care about. Also capping parts to 50 when new type says rec lvl 50 is dumb too. Just my 2 cents... Gb3 is still king I guess. It's not perfect but better than this for now.

Why'd you necro a thread that ended with some dummy that couldn't admit they were wrong about MG not doing anything in this or GB3?

isn't the rarity system supposed to determine how strong abilities and skills are? Maxing out to gold star (8 rarity iirc?) unlocks that skill for use without needing the part and gives a ability bump, but honestly the game's translation is not very clear on what the actual differences are.

It never says anything about buffing abilities, what?
