Bounty Hunter
Ok so I want to start by saying that I love this game, and have had a great time so far with it!

I just started chapter 5, and most of my parts are around lvl 23 with max rarity and good abilities.

I am getting SMOKED in Bounty Hunter mode! Anyone else experiencing extremely tanky enemies?

I just spent over 30 min. beating 3 58K enemies. I mean, I did it, but there's no way I need to spend this much time and can die myself in a few hits?!

Any tips? :C

Pretty sure Bounty Hunting menu uses player's build, consider most names are the default "Gundam Breaker".

Since there isn't any actual PvP (thank god) that I can find in game it makes sense that the bounty hunting mode which uses actual player made gunplas is there all the sweat would end up.

It doesn't help that your AI teammates are brain dead while the really good gunpla builders just build their ♥♥♥♥ with all the best and most spammable abilities/weapons and highest level/rarity parts.
The only thing I can think of that would help is changing your AI teammates gundams to be built of the same level of cheesiness.

Its a bit finicky but you can select both your AI teammates (I think thats just a cosmetic choice) and the gunplas they will use in mission. If you can find some gunpla building guides and make some builds for your teammates they will be more that useless most missions when using custom gunpla.

Look at the builds, it tells you their respective levels, rarities and stats. Don't assume you can take on a lvl 50 suit at lvl 23, as the damage and health scales harder than just linearly. It's very much not hard to get to that point as once you finish your first newtype difficulty quest, you get such ludicrously powerful enhancement plastic that you can rocket yourself to lvl 50 and max rarity pretty easily.

If you are within 5 or so levels, 10 with a good build, "sweaty OP ability spam" isn't a problem or even really matters. Just keep moving, keep blasting and take your time as you have no time limit on those. If you want it even easier, get multi target OPs as you can juggle three targets no problem at 40+. Otherwise, hang back, let your AI take some aggro and plink away till they start falling over. The moment you take one down, it becomes a 3v2 and even if your AI sucks, it still means less guns aimed at you.

The biggest issue you will face is that if you don't have enough health, those couple hits will chunk you. On top of that without something like an I-field/GN field you will find much larger chunks of your health removed. If you want to be extra durable, grab unicorns shield, Gundam NT-1 with chobham armor for backpack, put an ABC cloak on and slap those three defensive powers on your bar. It should take the edge off incoming fire no matter what it is.

I feel bad for whoever picks to fight my 1 million HP suit.

check their stat and avoid 1 mil hp MS or 100% cooldown one

Just beat three 98k enemies with my lvl 29 parts.
Did take all 3 retries, but I managed it. xD
Also around 8-10 minutes?

And yes, I did purposefully look for lower part levels on those 3 enemies.

Bounty Hunter enemies have inflated stats based on their value, with 90-100k enemies having Newtype-level ace stats. The levels of their parts don't seem to matter, and their value seems to be based on your win rates more than anything; I started Bounty Hunter in post-game and went through three rounds untouched before nothing but 98k and 100k opponents started showing up, and most of their parts were sub-Lv.20 with low rarities. Still did far more damage and had far more health than me.

Didn't have any retries, but then I have an Ability Cartridge that puts my health close to 1m. Took roughly three minutes or so, and that's with enemy Atomic Bazooka spam.

From What I have come to play and understand the power of the enemies isn't based on any Parts / Profile card. The only definable metric is bounty rating. capping at 90k
Meaning an enemy with lvl 1 parts still hits you with as much power as a full set of lvl 50 parts.
So picking opponents who have less abilities to spam DOES MATTER.
However If you won 2 battles in a row and got into 90k every enemy bounty before endgame.
Put this system on PAUSE. The enemies at 90k bounty are upscaled to endgame stats. Meaning they now have 1 million HP finish the game, then come back to this system.
Even using awakening defensive they WILL two shot you. At parts level 13 and below.
It becomes unfun very quickly for 0 discernible reason.

Personally there is a way for Bandai to fix this.
They would need to progression cap the Bounty system.
Meaning chapter one caps at X bounty, 2 caps at a higher bounty amount ETC.
yeah i got duel musket shin musha gundam mk 1 master grade with max builder slot used on 6tube missile launchers all my parts are 5 star gold lvl 50 level 30 ability's spec in damage and burst armed with Yari Spear and Naginata white and gold and black and silver called my shin musha gundam Shin Musha Pearl but its the only suit i got as i put all my parts into it after i cleared the game lol

The thing I find suspicious is that the last time I did a BH mission, the Enemy MS just ignored my teamates and just jumped me. It became hard to even hit the one I was focusing on, because the other 2 where constantly hitting me from off the screen.

unless they have builds that stunlocks you, just bring a heavy mace and you can melt even higher level enemies with ease by doing the mash combo. It's broken so use it while they haven't fixed it yet.

Don't you not even attain the same rarity drops as the people you fight?

just faced the same issue right now. the power creep seems to be ridiculous and there is no way to actually change the difficulty of the enemies in bounty hunter which seems like a huge oversight. i have to play extremely safe for 20 minutes and even then its not guaranteed i will win it since i already used up all my retries having to figure out i have to take pot shots and use repair just to survive.

its supposed to be fun, not a chore. bandai fix this please

The worst part is, if you join a mp lobby and go for a bounty mission with others, IF your team wins you individually get leveled up to that bounty.

Example: Say I could solo @ 100k. I join an mp lobby and win at 450k. Now I can't do 100k bounties anymore. The fact that I was with other players doesn't matter for the system; I'm considered over 450k

they are player made gunpla as you can check out there profile when your selecting them.
