It doesn't help that your AI teammates are brain dead while the really good gunpla builders just build their ♥♥♥♥ with all the best and most spammable abilities/weapons and highest level/rarity parts.
The only thing I can think of that would help is changing your AI teammates gundams to be built of the same level of cheesiness.
Its a bit finicky but you can select both your AI teammates (I think thats just a cosmetic choice) and the gunplas they will use in mission. If you can find some gunpla building guides and make some builds for your teammates they will be more that useless most missions when using custom gunpla.
Look at the builds, it tells you their respective levels, rarities and stats. Don't assume you can take on a lvl 50 suit at lvl 23, as the damage and health scales harder than just linearly. It's very much not hard to get to that point as once you finish your first newtype difficulty quest, you get such ludicrously powerful enhancement plastic that you can rocket yourself to lvl 50 and max rarity pretty easily.
If you are within 5 or so levels, 10 with a good build, "sweaty OP ability spam" isn't a problem or even really matters. Just keep moving, keep blasting and take your time as you have no time limit on those. If you want it even easier, get multi target OPs as you can juggle three targets no problem at 40+. Otherwise, hang back, let your AI take some aggro and plink away till they start falling over. The moment you take one down, it becomes a 3v2 and even if your AI sucks, it still means less guns aimed at you.
The biggest issue you will face is that if you don't have enough health, those couple hits will chunk you. On top of that without something like an I-field/GN field you will find much larger chunks of your health removed. If you want to be extra durable, grab unicorns shield, Gundam NT-1 with chobham armor for backpack, put an ABC cloak on and slap those three defensive powers on your bar. It should take the edge off incoming fire no matter what it is.
Did take all 3 retries, but I managed it. xD
Also around 8-10 minutes?
And yes, I did purposefully look for lower part levels on those 3 enemies.
Didn't have any retries, but then I have an Ability Cartridge that puts my health close to 1m. Took roughly three minutes or so, and that's with enemy Atomic Bazooka spam.
Meaning an enemy with lvl 1 parts still hits you with as much power as a full set of lvl 50 parts.
So picking opponents who have less abilities to spam DOES MATTER.
However If you won 2 battles in a row and got into 90k every enemy bounty before endgame.
Put this system on PAUSE. The enemies at 90k bounty are upscaled to endgame stats. Meaning they now have 1 million HP finish the game, then come back to this system.
Even using awakening defensive they WILL two shot you. At parts level 13 and below.
It becomes unfun very quickly for 0 discernible reason.
Personally there is a way for Bandai to fix this.
They would need to progression cap the Bounty system.
Meaning chapter one caps at X bounty, 2 caps at a higher bounty amount ETC.
its supposed to be fun, not a chore. bandai fix this please
The worst part is, if you join a mp lobby and go for a bounty mission with others, IF your team wins you individually get leveled up to that bounty.
Example: Say I could solo @ 100k. I join an mp lobby and win at 450k. Now I can't do 100k bounties anymore. The fact that I was with other players doesn't matter for the system; I'm considered over 450k
