Attack Power: Close Range Weapon
Attack Power: Right Close Range Weapon
Attack Power: Left Close Range Weapon
Attack Power: Greatsword
Having the right passives on your weapon helps a bit OP, especially since greatswords count as both a left and right hand weapon. Oh and I run with a hyper trance EX skill that boosts attack speed a bit, so something like TransAM works well.
Another thing too, you may want to run charge speed reduction passives on your mobile suit, makes the charge attack power up lightning quick.
Reducing the charge time however does help them keep up and how to combo into it. A real big con to it unless it's a bug is that for all the part breaking power Greatsword has, it can't ground break, which hurts it immensely.
Edit: Biting the bullet to make sure, I synth'd in Lv.30 Right and Left Close Range Weapon power and... yeah you're wasting two slots on your Greatsword bud...
I've seen other post the same info. Greatswords seriously lacking.
Honestly the only "Large Sword" weapon worth it's salt right now that actually does something is Extra Large Mace, because part of it's moveset is from the Lance.
Like I was pretty excited to use Tryon 3's swords and find out it's nothing really that special outside of looking very unique.
