Is there a way to change OP skill buttons to just one press instead of needing to press a Shift key?

the game was designed for using gamepad, the keyboard layout is strange

Gamepad requires you to use shift buttons too, it doesn't solve the issue. Though I get that the gamepad keys do work good. But I just want to play with M/kb sometimes.

Guess I'll just get this game on PS5 instead, the Steam version's m/kb input isn't worth it.

I remapped it to alt, mouse buttons to 3 and 4, q and e for 1 and 2.
Works like a charm, can combo all day every day.
This game's controls are fairly simple, after Nioh 2 this is nothing.
