Blue icon on some parts?

Hey,

Anyone know what the small blue icon in a part's picture means?
i've gotten several of them, but it's not really explained if this is important for the part itself.

This confused me for a while, too, doesn't seem explained anywhere. But it just means it's the part you got as the reward from S-ranking a stage, thus why the icon is gone when you go check the part anywhere else later.

Oh, and here I was thinking it meant the part had something special to it.

The icon they use is so vague looking that I had no idea what it was.
