mecha break is going to be a f2p gacha game that will milk you

A blatant and obvious jester farmer. Don't fall for it. Anyone with two or more brain cells can very clearly see GB4 is a proper successor to GB3. Unlike NGB, this game is good.

exactly. I enjoyed mecha break but make no mistake, they will milk you and most likely have FOMO to go with it, cuz why the ♥♥♥♥ not everybody seems to love it seeing how well CoD and other AAA games sell that still have all the mobile game garbage in them.

*Pre orders MG Gundam Vidar

I have no idea what you are talking about.

All the Bandai money goes to to paying good developers for DBZ games and the rest gets ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ looking games. Hell, I haven't seen games that look like this since ps2.

I appreciate graphics isn't everything. But the gameplay is also stuck in the 90s.

It takes TWO SECONDS watching Mecha Break graphics AND gameplay to make it obvious the utter disregard Bandai has for Gundam fans.

You piqued my curiosity so I went to see what Mecha Break was about.

It's a Hero Shooter ala Overwatch with 13 mechs? Seems to not have any customization aside from paint jobs. What you see on each mech is what you get.

I don't know about you, but I'm guessing that's not what these people, myself included, are here for.

You can change stuff other than than paint. Its the gameplay, looks closer to the anime than anything before.

If you want customisation you'd play AC.

Gundam is more about looks than substance, you are just role playing the anime.

Look I don't expect a good game from Bandai or their 3rd parties (except Arc System), but at least make it look good. Insult to injury, they're using Unreal Engine, a game that looks this bad, I can understand if they're still using their in house old engine but to go out of their way to make the games look this terrible, when anyone can make AAA looking games in their basement using UE, its just laziness and just shows they have contempt towards their gundam fans.

It's a Gundam game. For Gundam breaker fans, it's not for you that's fine. It has low budget yeah, but it's what fans of Gundam Breaker 3 were looking for in a sequel.

People here aren't looking for a game like PVP mechabreak, or AC. They're looking for a fun beatemup with gundam customizatoin.

Isn't Mecha Break just another generic PvP game?

Not sure what you're talking about here, Unreal is the garbage engine that was responsible for New. It's a miracle 4 is as good as it is despite running on that trash.

I think the genuine concerns are that no lessons were learnt after NGB other than don't make another NGB. This squarely ignores the flaws of GB3, I struggle to see why it's a AAA priced game when a lot of assets have been reused from about a decade ago and the combat is inferior to a game that already had a very poor combat loop. EDF 6 is getting mocked for it and I don't really see a reason why this game should get a pass. If it included all the MS from the mobile game (even if at a lower quality) it's at least a swath of new units previously unavailable. As it stands the biggest boast the game has is that you can finally play as SD units (Which tbh is pretty cool.)

UE games tend to look samey especially when they're pushing realism and has its issues. I sure don't want every developer to use UE.

But using UE to develop games is like 55% of the game making is done for you. All they had to do is make use of the wealth of UE tools. Its obvious they're using like 10% of what UE can do now and just coast release after release.

At least make higher poly models, levels, higher res textures, effects, shaders, materials that doesn't look so flat, better animation, and other obvious quality of life improvements to make their anime games (not just Gundam) look like they belong in this decade, well last decade is Ok too at this point. At full AAA price point!

"Stop buying gundam breaker games, you stupid gundam breaker fans, i prefer other entries in the franchise and i am upset that i, the protagonist of life, was not consulted before allowing a gundam breaker game to enter development"

Screw Gotcha game, but would be nice to have more story based games like the PS2 games
