exactly. I enjoyed mecha break but make no mistake, they will milk you and most likely have FOMO to go with it, cuz why the ♥♥♥♥ not everybody seems to love it seeing how well CoD and other AAA games sell that still have all the mobile game garbage in them.
I have no idea what you are talking about.
I appreciate graphics isn't everything. But the gameplay is also stuck in the 90s.
It takes TWO SECONDS watching Mecha Break graphics AND gameplay to make it obvious the utter disregard Bandai has for Gundam fans.
You piqued my curiosity so I went to see what Mecha Break was about.
It's a Hero Shooter ala Overwatch with 13 mechs? Seems to not have any customization aside from paint jobs. What you see on each mech is what you get.
I don't know about you, but I'm guessing that's not what these people, myself included, are here for.
You can change stuff other than than paint. Its the gameplay, looks closer to the anime than anything before.
If you want customisation you'd play AC.
Gundam is more about looks than substance, you are just role playing the anime.
Look I don't expect a good game from Bandai or their 3rd parties (except Arc System), but at least make it look good. Insult to injury, they're using Unreal Engine, a game that looks this bad, I can understand if they're still using their in house old engine but to go out of their way to make the games look this terrible, when anyone can make AAA looking games in their basement using UE, its just laziness and just shows they have contempt towards their gundam fans.
People here aren't looking for a game like PVP mechabreak, or AC. They're looking for a fun beatemup with gundam customizatoin.
Not sure what you're talking about here, Unreal is the garbage engine that was responsible for New. It's a miracle 4 is as good as it is despite running on that trash.
But using UE to develop games is like 55% of the game making is done for you. All they had to do is make use of the wealth of UE tools. Its obvious they're using like 10% of what UE can do now and just coast release after release.
At least make higher poly models, levels, higher res textures, effects, shaders, materials that doesn't look so flat, better animation, and other obvious quality of life improvements to make their anime games (not just Gundam) look like they belong in this decade, well last decade is Ok too at this point. At full AAA price point!
