Renaming gunpla?

Like I know you can change the name of your blueprint atm, but I dunno how to change the actual name of the gunpla, its still coming up as "Gundam Breaker" in my profile and mission end screen, I remember it being horrible to find in GB3, but i cant find it here, anyone else any luck?

I don't know the proper way, but for simplicity i had already renamed my blueprint and when i realized my name was all screwed out of curiosity checked if the blueprint name overwrites and it does.

Save your blueprint, then click on the slot and it'll let you rename it. Then load the blueprint and the name will apply. Little clunky, but considering how well the customization is anyways, I'll let it slide.

I'm sure there's another way to do it, we just haven't found it yet.

Just to add to this - This doesn't change the name in combat. For some reason, it says fo rme my name, and under it, it's still "Gundam Breaker". Which im confused about. I named all my blueprints.

You still need to load the blueprint you're using after renaming it. So your steps are,

1) Take your new gunpla
2) Save it in blueprints
3) Select it to rename it
4) After renaming it, select it again and hit load.

A bit obnoxious, no?

Can't you also rename the gunpla on your character card? Like, bring up the edit menu, navigate to its name, and then just rename it? I did that once, and it's seemed to stick around no matter what I've done.

Save it to blue print then rename the saved blue print. Then exit to lony and go back to home and load the blueprint. For me if i load the blueprint while still in the home menu after saving the new name wont apply

It's like some dumbass designed the UI. I thought smart people made games but, honestly, I could do better in this if I bothered to learn programming. At least from a UI/UE perspective, anyways.
