I've only clocked like 90 minutes so far and I've spent more time building and painting than I have engaging with the combat. This is my first GB and the building aspect has sparked joy in the customising aspect since I hardly have time to build real kits, much less think about painting them or mashing them together.

My only issue with the combat so far is that I cannot figure out the best way to minimize damage especially in big boss encounters, but that'll come with time.

I gotta say the best part is the customization almost every combo looks good and then there's the rust and scratches and dirt I can't wait to see what people make and I think ima try to make techs and robots from other stuff at the end of the campaign

its good i looking forward to the endgame system where you can extract the op and ex skills form the parts and put them into existing parts of you gear. and i like the build diviserty so far with the kits you can get from the missions for me its a solid 8/10 and the combat is so fun

I'm fairly new to the Breaker games. I so far think it's above average in terms of fun and enjoyment. There's a couple quirks in the game that kind of annoy me but it's nothing major. The gunpla customization is done well. Story so far is nothing to write home about but I didn't expect much to begin with.

Gundam games have never been known for their graphics ever, the scale just doesn't really need detail. Mech Warrior tends to look better but really isn't that much more detailed. I think the best looking out of the bunch was Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 because they went with cel shading. Honestly would be better if they went back to that.

This one has been killing me. Like I remember me playing gundam and zoe back then....

But also this IS made to run on switch so it won't be the prettiest game out there, but imo it doesnt really need to be. It's gundam and feels quite simply nostalgic with the palette it has going on.

I just want this game to do well enough they either finally port Dynasty Warriors Gundam over or make a new one. LIKE PLEASE GIMME.

My biggest issue is I don't like how the UI swapped EX skills to the bottom left instead of the bottom right and there doesn't seem to be a way to swap them.

If you have a PS4, you should check out Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Maxiboost On. It is basically a 2v2 Gundam arena fighter. Maybe they'll port a version of Extreme Vs 2 at some point, but it took them years to release that one, so I wouldn't expect that anytime soon.

Don't get to play for more than 30 minutes. (Dang that Steam Deck Battery is really small.)
It still does feel more like a direct sequel of GB2 instead of 3 though. GB3 was so streamlined that everything just clicked when GB2 was more sim-y and verbose.

Still good though. yeah this is the GB I'm looking for. For now mostly anyways. We'll see after we finish story mode.

I'd ignore all those morons. 'PS2 graphics' is the standard hyperbole whenever someone has nothing to pick on.

Besides, the default plasticky look of the Gunpla always does look low qual coz its supposed to look like low quality plastic. You can paint the models and give them a metallic look if you want. All the options are here.

Gundam Xboost is technically playable on PC but the set up is really annoying, especially if you just want to play by yourself against cpu

I still decide to refund it or not,combat not what I expect I thought it gonna be fast like maxiboost,it just a bit slow not feel like play as gundam maybe because I have play mecha break before.
