Ultimate or deluxe?
Which one should I buy? Is the Diorama Pack Set just for watching? Useless? Or it has something about the combat or building of gunpla. This actually help me to decide whether ultimate or not, If the Diorama Packs are useless then, it must deluxe instead.

Eh, I just got the most expensive version so I'd have everything, personally. It's a matter of what you think is the most bang for your buck. As it is, the ultimate edition is just $10 more than the Deluxe, but I think that's exactly what they were banking on as it stands.

As far as I'm concerned, my opinion is simple: If Reborns Gundam shows up in the DLC, I will be content. If not, I will be amgery. >_>
I bought the deluxe, I am not the person to enjoy the function of diorama.
Absolutely fair. As long as you feel you enjoy your purchase, that's what counts. :)

While I hate the whole 'editions' thing... I know this game will be good and that I will sink hundreds of hours into it. For that, I want 'everything'... if that means I have to buy the most expensive edition... So be it.

Unlike something from say, Ubiscum... where its going to be garbage no matter what... GB4 is guaranteed to be good. From all the media we've seen, it's frigging guaranteed that it will not flop. The game basically sold itself instantly the moment it was proven to be an improved/upgraded GB3 which is honestly all ppl ever really wanted.

Since we're getting that... meh, Bamco can have my money. I will get my enjoyment out of it.

gb1 was the best version gb 2 and up had none of the crowd cheering the first one had.

one thing I will give NGB is the melee impacts have a slight slowdown from strike that really sold the collision of a hit!

Yeah, there are no Pre-Order bonuses beyond early access to parts, the Diorama which is just for displaying and the Season pass for the better editions are all there is as far as i can tell, there was a Collectors Edition available for a while that had an actual limited edition Gunpla, the Soundtrack, and a special steelbook included with it (Guess who splurged on that one lol, also the reason i have not Pre-Ordered the game on Steam, I'm waiting for my CE to arrive)

I want to buy the collector's edition, but bandai don't let me buy it. There are no such collector's edition on their page.

It's sold out (And has been like that for nearly two months I believe), also: i think it may have been Exclusive to the EU Region Store

I checked it long ago, not recently, and there are no options for collector's edition, just the EU store has it.

If you don't care about the diorama (just posing your gunpla in set pieces) then you shouldn't bother paying full price for ultimate edition. If you only care about the models for gameplay purposes, get the standard if you don't care to have the DLC right away and want to unlock things at your own pace. Get the Deluxe if you want the early unlocks and stuff.

I doubt there will be much or any exclusive content based on your version (that wouldn't end up available for future purchase if desired) so just ask if you want to invest in the DLC stuff early or not.

I'm faced with the same dilemma now, since I'm waiting til the last moment to pre-order. They listed the contents of the first pack (themed around space colonies), it's 10 objects and 2 terrain sets or something. I think 5 packs of that is worth 10 bucks, the problem is I'm on the fence when it comes to using Diorama mode. I wasn't exactly overflowing with ideas when I tried it out in the last beta. It might be a time issue (lack thereof), so I'm leaning toward ultimate right now.
