Built myself: I believe it was the HG Force Impulse (pre-Revive of course). It didn't even have saber effects, you had to use a separate hand that has the lit-up saber stuck to it (and that hand+sword was an unpainted white). Impulse was one of my first and favorite Gundams, but the Destiny stole its position shortly after.

It was the HG Gundam Spiegel from G Gundam. It was between that and the God Gundam (the only two the store had buried on a back shelf somewhere), and I opted for the one with giant arm swords. It was so much fun building and playing with that I went right back the next day and got the HG God Gundam! 😁

My first was 1/60 G Gundam. AKA burning Gundam. But my favorite is MG gundam astray red frame, it’s one of the first model they try to have moveable frame (the outer armor move when you bend the leg).
HOWEVER, the one I treasure the most is the MG HI NU Gundam. It was a gift from my sister.
