Last call for (DLC) unit predictions

I'm expecting them to start showing paid DLC units in the final final devstream, so it's now or never. I know the first pack has 4 units (thanks to GoodIntent for the translation write-up), and the range of units was listed as 2-5 per pack (with 5 packs total). I'm not arranging my list with specific packs, though. Of course, they could still have more base game units in the stream (or in the game itself), so some of my predictions could be for base-game stuff. Anyway:

I'm guessing SEEDF is getting the IBO in GB3 treatment here. RF is here because of the lore bit of Mighty's backpack being intended for RF. Immortal vs. Infinite 2 is a toss-up for me. I'm hoping IJ2 gets the free update treatment (it's got a nice horn), but I can see it being paid (in place of Immortal). Zeus is wishful thinking (PLEASE), I picked the baddies with the most gimmicks, and Duel is there because Yzak hasn't gotten anything since Duel+AS in GB2. Gyan is interchangable with Gelgoog, Gyan just seems to have more gimmicks (since I haven't seen Slash Zaku or Gouf Ignited).

I'm very torn between Earthree or this. On one hand, every Build MC we've got so far was of their base suits. On the other hand, that was because their series were new, and we got Beginning 30 in GB3. So I went with the later suit. Either way, I'm expecting a complementary midget Gundam to really mix up the SD builds. I really wish we got a Core/Planet Gundam for base game, though.

...Literally every one of these were in Battle Alliance lmao. Figuring out how Breaker decides which older series to fill out is a crapshoot. I would've expected more IBO suit reveals than Graze by now (Flauros and Hajioboroshi/Marchosias), but I picked RegiJu because it looks distinct. Reborns is a meme, and the other 3 are obvious-ish UC picks. Maybe NT is unnecessary when the roster has Phenex, but that's the MSV one.

Maybe they could use one of the older waifuplas since they have weapons (Gyanko and Lohengrinko), but if they're expecting people to pay for a waifu kit, they've gotta go with the biggest one (in relevance/popularity, not size).

I'm expecting a handful of SDs as DLC, but I don't follow the units in thosr series, so I'll stick with one I actually bought. The only kit for G Gen Phoenix. Please.

-Lah Gundam
-Command Quanta
These last two, I expect to be free. Lah for a Metaverse tie-in, and Command because of the oh-so mysterious Meister Jin.

My predictions are more for a EXVS/Battle Alliance-type game, so I'm counting on most of these to be wrong. Not enough Build, UC, mooks, and oddball picks (like the Haro on wheels). Was Eclipse on Mobile? Eh whatever, I spent too much time on this.

I suspect one of Hiroto's Core Gundam forms will be DLC tho, would be a bit weird if Mobile Doll May was the only Re:Rise kit.

But weren't they in GBM? I remember seeing the red one, Marsfour was it? its comforting to see that some entrants that came from GBM, so maybe these are DLC (or even better, free post launch DLC like MSF and Calibarn)

I did make a concerted effort not to respond, I feel defeated. BA has a special place in my heart for turning MA bosses (usually spongy slogs in other Gundam games) into God Eater boss fights. It just needed roster improvements (both in quantity and versatility of each individual unit), a change in the stat/RPG mechanics (either make it more pronounced or get rid of it), and some QoL polish (pausing, not game-overing immediately when dying alone, Lv 100 mode).

A fellow God Eater player? Color me shocked. I thought people had all but forgotten about that great series. (We don't talk about 3...it was okay, but it just...story was kinda meh.)

So there's plenty of potential, but if not, we can always wait for modding, seeing as it's gonna get a PC release.

The lack of an HG Grungust-1 kit makes me vibrate. Isn't Gunleon next, too? And I thought SRX was popular, guess I'm not getting that for a while either (assuming it's even in my budget). Why do my favorites have to be so niche? There won't be an ExExbein or a Flickerei HG til 2050.

Also, I doubt there will any crossover in the Story and Mission DLCs, as the DLCs also contains story that takes place after the main game (This is confirmed during the last GB4 dev livestream a few days ago).

Core and NT are the biggest roster gaps for me. I want midget Gundam (with custom dress-up builds) and anorexic NT-D Nu.

They could always handwave it as isekai alternate dimension nonsense. I think we've had hints that the game's story will go for a Divers spin (all the references to GB2).

Yeah, I mostly played 2RB on the Vita (alongside GB3 funnily enough), though I played a bit of PSP Burst before that. I consider the series my real first look at a monster-hunting/boss rush type of game. Haven't mustered the interest to finish one on Steam yet (I got swept up by MHW), though I got the series here.

Heavyarms Custom would be a waste of a dlc unit, since both the regular and EW heavyarms custom can be made with the parts already in the game, perfectly.

It's one of my fav machines of all time, but I'd be a little narked to see it in a dlc.

Truthfully if we're gonna get some DLC what I NEED as must haves are SEED Freedom (Shi-Va Gyan Strom, Mighty Strike Freedom, Impulse Spec2, etc.) Narrative (Narrative Gundam A-Packs is maybe, B and C packs are MUST HAVE), and the 00 spin off stories, too many good units being passed up like the Astraea F2, the 1.5 Gundam, the Advanced GN-X, and I would really like more IBO units, I feel like Hekija, Grimgerde and Gundam Gremory would go hard.
What would be good to have, but aren't necessarily must haves, would be the other Rider units (Red Rider, White Rider, and Black Rider) (this is also coming from a shameless Red Rider main in GBO2, so...sorry not sorry, get your ♥♥♥♥ slashed xP) I would also like some more Side Story units, like the Pixy, Doug's Efreet, the enhanced Pale Rider, and I would really like to see the Gundam Mk V from Sentinel.

Mighty Strike Freedom is already confirmed, and there's already too much SEED, 00, and Tekketsu as is, while meanwhile Gundam X is sitting here with still basically just variations on the main hero and main villain Gundams, and we're sitting on tons of interesting non-Gundams in Victory.

Well it's kind of good. Nice to see more G Gundam reps. The Maxter BETTER have both standard and "Champion" mode (where it purges the armor and goes full power, using the shoulder armor as boxing gloves), Spiegel is also nice. 00 Qan Full Saber is...eh. I was thinking more along the lines of the Ahead units (Specifically Mr. Bushido's Ahead "Sakigake" close combat type with it's dual GN Beam Katanas) when I thought of 00 units, that and the Throne units. As far as Seed Units I want. I want at least the Blue Frame D (aka the final version equipped with DRAGOON units.) or at least make the Tactical Arms equipable weapons. The Amatsu Hana or Lord Astray Omega would be awesome too. Reborns is kinda...feels a bit weird to have it but not the 0 Gundam.
