Like if you just use pre-built Zeta gundam with no changes to weapons, parts, anything THEN it can transform into Waverider by double pressing dash button.
Wouldn't it be cool?
You could still repaint and apply decals to it too.
But they won't do that, it's too good to be true.
Such a feature to the world of Gundam and it gets like zero love.
(MS saga 2 Copege). i too want to full custom a transformable ms like Uraven with TR-6 parts.
until then give GB4 some love, i already anxious some of our guys in this place will put the review to Mixed or lower no matter what
give it loving tender care why don't you
no offense and all just blowing steam
Again, I think it'd freakin' BALLER if we got transforming suits. I just don't think it'd be a very realistic request when they're always adding more and more suits to the list of cool stuff you can kit-bash.
Finally, don't let other peoples' opinions get under your skin chief. It's a videogame, and what should matter most is whether YOU enjoy the game or not, not everybody else. As long as you're having fun with the game you purchased, that is what counts. :)
i think it can be done if you define specific parts as transformable, like make it bend or compact its form, then you just have to set a base of transformable option. 3 variant or so. and the full set is easy because that just what Unicorn been doing the whole time with different model every change, just that times how many morphable unit they are, hopefully next gen can handle that
and thats limited to morph into Aircraft, things like hidolfr or xamel is another form of morph
im sure the dev can figure it out somedays
that and exchangeable things age has been doing or Mobile armor equipment like avalanche
Even games with a character creator where everything is human (or human-adjacent with minor alterations) tend to run into issues with clipping, misalignments, and desynced animation in games with character creators that let you actually sculpt/slider the model, instead of doing build-a-bear with individual features. Doing build-a-bear with stuff that often is totally different in visual design philosophy, as tends to happen with mechs, causes a lot of those issues without even trying. You wind up either with absurdly stiff and limited ROM animations, or with a lot of restrictions on customization options. Technically, one could just go 'IDGAF' and not care about clipping or combinations of parts looking jank AF, but that's the 'indies and low budget studios only' territory as far as getting away with that sort of thing.
a Skill-set to be bound to say the chest that when activated changes the machine to the set the Part it belongs in order to take the transformed appearance. It wouldn't be the most favorite way but at least we'd get a transformation ability.
This couldve been done as its been so in a few other titles w/o adv Part Customisation
(iirc MS saga did it w/ . it has been a century tho).
I just wouldnt want it to be an uncontrollable ability.
Introducing "Hyper-systems" (Trans, NT-D System to name a couple) and not transformations seems really dumb.
Just my take thou.* Just realising the Unicorn (and maybe Banshee, Phoenix?) do have a transformation, how much ya'll wanna guess they get to have both forms?
The difference between MA mode transformations and power-up ones is that the latter is isolated to the part. An NT-D Unicorn arm isn't gonna be attached or posed differently compared to the Unicorn Mode version. Any animation/posing changes happens in the part itself.
I'm not sure how a controllable MA mode would slot in Breaker, anyway. They'd have to nerf the current boost to make it worthwhile, and unless it's literally just an alternate boost animation (having it go that fast would look jank, but it'd work), it would slow down the game from having to transform from MS to MA (and back again) just to move faster. I'd welcome a Waverider Crash super move, though.
