For those of you with the black screen.

Okay, so with the newest 310.70 nVidia drivers out, PhysX was updated and broke Velvet Assassin.

To fix:

(ATI Card instructions at the bottom)

== NVIDIA CARDS ==

1.) Enter Control Panel.

2.) Click on "Programs and Features".

3.) Find "NVIDIA PhysX"

4.) Uninstall.

5.) Open http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/physx-9.12.0613-driver-uk.html

6.) Download and Install.

7.) Restart.

This should fix most problems. (Tested working by me on a PNY nVidia GTX 550 Ti)


== ATI CARDS ==

1.) Uninstall any version of nVidia PhysX you currently have installed.
( Follow steps 1 - 4 above )

2.) Go to http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/physx-9.12.0613-driver-uk.html

3.) Download and install

4.) Restart

( Need someone to test this a bit here, I don't have an ATI card. )

5.) Disable hardware acceleration. I know you can set the PhysX to use only the CPU in the nVidia Control Panel, but I have no idea whether or not this installs the nVidia Control Panel or not. Check around in the Catalyst Control Center as well.

6.) Restart?

7.) Run game.

i have ATI R9 200 graphics card and steps 1 2 3 and 7 worked just fine no need to do steps 4 5 6 thanks for putting this post up WORKS ON ATI PEOPLE

I have an ATI Radeon card.Brand new.Everyone who has one do steps 1 to 4 for NVidia then you're good to go!FINALLY got it to the loading screen after years of having it lol.
