Then officially this awesome game will not play on Windows 10 officially until someone gets lead out of theire a** and fixes it? I personally am getting some super wierd error message when the game is trying to run but has to be manually force closed through the task manager. Traif. I've done all normal steps taken when games do things such as this and nothing. Even ran the Compatibility Troubleshooter and renamed the game files that was mentioned I believe in a Pinned Topic. Still nothing. This blows severely. Especially when Windows in getting ready to do with Windows 7 and Windows 8 the same as the did with Windows XP soon.

The game worked fine for me on Windows 8.1. Not sure about Windows10, haven't played the game since I upgraded to 10.

I'm playing it right now on W10. The thing is, I have configured Windows it so it doesn't load a lot of background crap. PLUS, check the pinned post if you're getting an error message on startup.

Yeah. I have a ton of background crap turned off in Win10 and everything running that should run. It still does the same thing on my end here. Did everything that I could that the PC Gaming Wiki declared and it's still the same.

So. Either I am doing something totally wrong or something is just botched with my copy of the game that doesn't pick up by Steam after running Check on it through here.

I just read your last post. I also had the weird error on startup, and had to close it using the Task Manager. I fixed it by downloading the Nvidia Legacy thingie. But you know how it is, each PC is a world in itself. If you tried this way and it didn't work, I don't really know how to help.

Yeah. I did all the Legacy Driver crap as well and still the same wierd message and have to force close it through the task manager.

I must say that you are absolutely rite about each PC being a different world in itself.

Who knows. Maybe I need to transfer the files into my main HDD instead of my secondary. It may be worth a shot just teadious and considering that the other close to 200 games that I have on the secondary hdd work perfectly fine. Just seems to be an oober strange situation.

You MUST download the Physx Legacy Driver by Nvidia for the game to run. I included a download link below. Once installed you can play the game

Edit: YES you can still install Nvidia Physx with AMD cards.

I'm running an Intel Core i9-9900K, an EVGA GeForce 2070 Black edition with 8GB of DDR5 and 16GB of Team Group Vulcan RAM on a Gigabyte Z390 UD motherboard.

I tried installing the Legacy Drivers, but this just made things worse, choking my 144Hz monitor/GPU to 120Hz in the Nvidia system settings and it still doesn't run, I just get a plain black or white screen.
I tried disabling everything and lowering the resolution in the launcher and still no joy,
Anyone got something I can work with here, it's a grat game, I completed it on the Xbox One but I'm totally at a loss.
If anyone has the same issues and/or solutions, please drop me a message.

This drive work in Windows 10. Its work to me. Install and play.
