Force resolution or safe mode on launch?

I don't know what the default resolution is, but my monitor won't display it. I can see the thumbnail/menu in the Win-tab group, but switching over to the game just gives a black screen, followed by my monitor's error that this input isn't supported. Is there a flag or something that I can feed the game to start in a very basic configuration?

To reply to my own message, I did get it to launch. I created a shortcut to the game executable, and added " -safe" to the target. It's starting in a really lazy way; it assumes that because I have a 4k capture card inline, that it should run in 4k. My monitor is not 4k.
