I don't recall the dev making a mouse sensitivity setting. You may be better off changing this through your own computer's Settings and adjust this by the mouse device and adjust the pointer speed and see if this helps a little more. Most of mice speed adjustments are made by the device through the computer anyway. I don't expect solo indie devs to add in a script for this mouse sensitivity these days.
It's pretty much a 50/50 chance that some consider more setting adjustments for the player to adjust their keyboard, mouse and controllers but I just assume most indie solo (even two) devs rarely touch this. Better to be changing at least the mouse speed through the computer or if the mouse itself has a button on the top that allows a quick mouse float speed adjustments by 3 possible speed changes.
I am not assuming your mouse does; but I try to get those $30~$70 mice that has this button feature. Otherwise for those mice that do not have it, then go into the computer's Settings and adjust the mouse's pointer speed. If you need to crank it to the max to just play the game better then do so. I had a few games like this myself too so I get it.
