Personally, I just alternate my free time between playing other games and checking out videos of other people either playing the game or talking about it. The games were clearly designed to be talked about like any other engaging and thought-provoking entertainment medium.
Yes, a lot of people are reaching with their theories (in which case I'll usually just move on), but the overall discussion is typically interesting. It's undeniable there's a lot more content than you usually would expect beneath the surface of these games.
Yeah, I only just got Undertale beginning of october, and played it throughout the month. Ive done pacifist twice, then I found the demo for Deltarune, and I love it just as much as Undertale.
I dont think I've come across a game that makes me miss interacting with the characters like these ones. I didn't want the stories to end. Lets plays are keeping me going now, as you said.
It goes without saying im very late to the party but I am so glad I did find these gems.
all these Gaster theories are wild.
It's sad to see Undertale end, but it ended on a happy note. It's odd to find a game that I refuse to 100% too. (Cause I don't wanna kill anyone for the neutral/genocide route. I love the characters that much) For me this will go down as a classic. I still play a bit of it from time to time and find the odd thing or 2 I missed in my other playthroughs.
Deltarune has not ended yet. It's just taking a long, long, long......LONG dog nap. But I am enjoying seeing artwork from other people online!
Yeah there is no way I can kill any of the characters, I've done 2 pacifist play throughs and thats all i'll ever do, I fell for the characters so bad, I love them all lol
I'm really looking forward to deltarunes upcoming chapters, its the one thing im not sad about, because the story continues
I like watching Merg play UNDERTALE Fan Games, although sadly most of them involve Genocide Boss Fights. Those might be useful for enjoying more of the Universe.
On principle, I only completed UNDERTALE on Pacifist and never played it again. It was a somewhat sad experience, but I figure that preserving that "Ending" is worth it. "deltarune" seems to involve a lot less guilt tripping, so I might have room to replay it in the future.
As for the rest of "deltarune", mostly I have just been coming up with random Headcanons and imagining how Events might play out. Until the other Chapters are released, it gives me a way to still enjoy that Alternate Reality.
Yep, same with me on pacifist. Once I finished it for the second time I wanted to leave it as a happy ending. Flowey does a good job of guilt tripping so itll be awhile before i consider a reset.
I might start looking into some of the fan games that have popped up. Some actually seem pretty interesting, like undertale yellow.
Hey, you know... In a game with character customization, I made my avatar/player character look like Kris. What if you tried that? It might help!
The fan made stuff has definitely kept me going lately, and now im doing a second deltarune playthrough to beat the two secret bosses. Fan content has been hit or miss for me, fan art can be cursed beyond belief.
Couldn't have said it any better. "Now What" has summed up my post game feelings to both games.
Yeah i got early access to the full game
