Probably at the end of chapter 6 -- or even 5 if there's a chance that we get to see what comes AFTER the roaring. Plus, so far each chapter ends on a cliffhanger which shows something about what comes next.
I think he just takes advantage of preexisting expectations by subverting them.
In this case, I think the expectation is that you'll be able to beat the titans as some big final boss and live happily ever after, like in most stories, and that this is the expectation that will somehow be subverted.
The song from the end of chapter 1 will probably make a comeback during the darkest hour.
You mean like how Lancer and Rouxls "died" in chapter 2?
It's implied that Darkners are really hard to actually kill. Lancer supposedly would just bounce if he fell off of a cliff - most of the entities in Cyber City can just be plugged back in and recharged, and Lancer and Rouxls turn back to normal after turning to stone, when taken back to a place where they are compatible with the darkness.
Since Darkners seem to be tied to objects, they'd still be easier to kill than a bodyless AGI (non-Deltarune entity) that can just perpetually keep copying itself to another computer server somewhere, but they're still clearly more difficult to kill than Lightners, who don't have to have their bodies destroyed in order to suffer permanent loss of life.
It appears that Darkners have to have the light world object that their character is tied to actually obliterated and fully destroyed in order to die, otherwise they simply become petrified and can be revived. Maybe they could be cracked but then glued back together.
