Insane Theory
Just here me out, okay? I know this sounds crazy, but I THINK that UNDERTALE is actually a video game that Asriel coded, within the universe of DELTARUNE. Stop yelling at me saying, "Are you carzy?!" In the beggining of Chapter two if you look at Asriel's computer it says that there'r a folder called "epic game stuff" and it has a final boss with 'Rainbow Wings' sound familiar? TRUE PACIFIST ASRIEL'S FINAL FORM! Also, it's kinda accurate that the names of chacaters in Undertal would be based on people in Asriel's real life. I really so know that this is crazy, but if you have any other evidence, please share! Also please don't hate me.

That's not a new theory. (I think even Game Theories talked about it a while back?) There's just not much more to say about whether this is going to be more of a thing, since we don't have any more info than you mentioned.

It doesn't add to the theory, but the one other thing I would say could be related to this (and that some people seem to either not know or forget at times) is that Undertale is an offshoot that grew out of the original idea for Deltarune. The idea for Deltarune existed first.

How would sans and papyrus be in the game if they just moved in during chapter 1

Interesting point. Asriel (or whoever) would have to have known about them before the "game" was made.

Which is entirely possible, as asriel seems known fondly by basically the whole town, but we dont have much to say with the skele-bros and asriels relationship because it hasnt come up yet.

Sans and his brother reportedly just moved to town. Sans may know Kris' mom, but Asriel has reportedly been away "at college" for a while.
I actually suspect that the rainbow winged final boss on Asriel’s computer is actually the Angel of the prophecy that we are destined to fight. It doesn’t really make much sense for it to be God of Hyperdeath in terms of world building. And that this, along with Ralsei, are the first hints that whatever force is creating the dark worlds, may be aware of a game from Kris’s past and is recreating it through dark magic.

Meaning the Knight is likely also someone from Kris’s past that was part of this game, namely Dess.

I am pretty late to this but I'm pretty sure the "rainbow winged final boss" was just a reference to the Asriel Dreemurr boss from undertale

I think the game Azzy made having the god of hyperdeath in it was probably just sort of a joke reference

that thing on Asriel's computer is just a referance, if anything it only proves that Asriel chose to look like that in his final form, it's not however confirmation that he made undertale

If Undertale is a game inside a game in Deltarune, then who are (you)?
(You) get to ask Deltarune characters multiple questions which would only make sense for someone who experienced Undertale.

I'm more inclined to connect Asriel's epic game stuff with darkworld town, which has classic RPG-style shops. So Ralsei is mimicking Asriel and darkworld town mirrors Asriel's game stuff.
