He explained it somewhere he didn't want to put achievements because people would want to achieve them for the sake of achieving them, which is not the point of the game. Trophies on console versions were simply mandatory. That's why he made them intentionally stupid and very easily achievable. Notice there are no trophies for reaching particular endings

Apparently it used to, but people were getting too scared or something.
