The Chapters 3&4 Brain Rot

I fully understand that game development takes time and I absolutely do not want anyone to rush anything, but I’m beginning to feel like if Chapter 3 doesn’t release before September this year, the community will descend into total insanity. r/Deltarune is already like 40% brain rot at this point. I’ve been seeing predictions that the next chapters will release anywhere from December 2024 to September 2025 and I’m genuinely not sure the fanbase has the mental capacity to wait for that much longer.

Update: It appears that my dreams of a release before Fall have been dashed by the newest newsletter. May God have mercy on our souls.

The thing is I think for whatever reason the Deltarune fandom just seems to be less patient than other fandoms.

I just saw someone on r/Deltarune genuinely unironically attempt to find esoteric significance in the hidden boss theme OST track numbers.

Some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trying to claim 11 represents chaos and 13 represents rebellion even tho all that numerology ♥♥♥♥ is highly subjective and contradictory (I.E. different numbers can be associated with different things depending on a vast multitude of factors).
Also they had to use other completely arbitrary math to get to 11 and 13 in the first place. THE WORLD REVOLVING is 33 in the Ch.1 soundtrack and BIG SHOT is 39 in the Ch.2 soundtrack but they decided that it was absolutely imperative that they divide them both by 3 even though that’s just completely arbitrary.
