Jevil is the worst boss in the entire game.

Jevil is one of if not the worst boss in the entire game and i think it needs to be massively nerfed. Javil's attacks do entirely too much damage for any boss especially a chapter one boss, his attacks are extremely hard to dodge for any skill level and are way too bullet hell'ish. i would be fine with how many projectiles you have to dodge (except the ring around the rosey one) if they daddnt do so much damage, they do 30-40'ish damage and there are 20 projectiles on screen at once. This difficulty only scales into phase two where he has different attacks that are way worse, same amount of projectiles but much bigger and do slightly are damage, not to mention how long it takes to kill if (if you manage too). I now want to talk about Ralseis heal you think that would make the fight bearable but no, the reason you would heal with him is if you take damage but sense he does so much damage all of his heals do almost nothing if you heal a player who is very low regardless of if you healed him/her or not he/she will stiff die in one-two hits. And just to mention it the ring around the rosey attack is way to hard you need almost frame perfect timing 4-5 times in a row to survive. All i want to say is that Jevil Needs to be massively balanced he is way to hard, ik he is a secret boss but he is a chapter 1 boss he needs to be possible for someone whos at least beat the game once, please toby fox nerf him.

If you don't like him thats fine but if you think he's so hard... you can skip him. He's optional.
The difficulty can be scaled up for optional content since they aren't required.

I remember having trouble beating him for the first time, but now it's very fun beating him, with me spending from 1 to 3 tries each time.

when I lost To Jevil i didn't cry about at all! I thought It was great! heck I kept coming back to it but I did stop but tbh It was fun! I knew i could just stop but you obviously didn't like it and wanted Jevil to be on baby mode taking -1 damage so grow up, cope and get over it

Prescription: Play Touhou EOSD on lunatic for an extended period of time.


On a serious note: I recommend getting at least any armor the game offers, most of it should go to Ralsei since hes pretty squishy, the rest to Kris and Susie should be fine with what you can buy from Seam , Club Sandwich and some of (Whatever is the name of that food that rouxls sells) will be useful to heal without having to use magic, you should save up a revivemint for the fight and also fix Top Chef's cake so you can get unlimited access to the spin cake which is a pretty good item since it restores 80HP to every party member, i don't have much to say about attacking or trying to do the pacifist way for Jevil, whatever suits you. Rest should be practice and yada yada

This is from like 2023 but i'm saying this just in case you're somehow still trying to beat Jevil, i hope its the latter though.

Jevil is hard but he's a secret boss and gives the best items in chapter 1. He's hard but a nerf is absurd, for some of the best equipment in the game He's completely worth it
