Jevil is the worst boss in the entire game.

Jevil is one of if not the worst boss in the entire game and i think it needs to be massively nerfed. Javil's attacks do entirely too much damage for any boss especially a chapter one boss, his attacks are extremely hard to dodge for any skill level and are way too bullet hell'ish. i would be fine with how many projectiles you have to dodge (except the ring around the rosey one) if they daddnt do so much damage, they do 30-40'ish damage and there are 20 projectiles on screen at once. This difficulty only scales into phase two where he has different attacks that are way worse, same amount of projectiles but much bigger and do slightly are damage, not to mention how long it takes to kill if (if you manage too). I now want to talk about Ralseis heal you think that would make the fight bearable but no, the reason you would heal with him is if you take damage but sense he does so much damage all of his heals do almost nothing if you heal a player who is very low regardless of if you healed him/her or not he/she will stiff die in one-two hits. And just to mention it the ring around the rosey attack is way to hard you need almost frame perfect timing 4-5 times in a row to survive. All i want to say is that Jevil Needs to be massively balanced he is way to hard, ik he is a secret boss but he is a chapter 1 boss he needs to be possible for someone whos at least beat the game once, please toby fox nerf him.

The point of Jevil is be a challenging secret boss for the most skilled people, remember that he came out when there was only the first chapter of Deltarune and there wasn't really challenging fights in the game for the people who have completed the genocide route on Undertale.
That's the reason why it's so secret and hard to enter without seeing any guides, it's only for the most determined and skilled persons.

But ignoring its purpose, the boss isn't that hard for deserving a nerf. almost every attack are relativy easy to dodge if you concentrate your view in your soul and not in all the bullets there are on the screen. Yeah, you can take a lot of damage but is kind of easy to dodge and you have the top cake/spinning cake and ralsei for healing you half of a character health bar.

In brief, Jevil punishes you a lot if you are hit with its bullets but, in counterpart, its bullets are relativy easy to dodge with a bit of practice and you can get hit a bit in its battle without losing instantly thanks to the top/spinning cake, ralsei healing and other items like chocodiamond.

Brief of the brief, just learn how to dodge him.

I don't want to make fun of you, but I just booted up deltarune to see if jevil was more difficult than I remember and I beat him first try. The only character in my party who died was ralsei halfway through the battle but I healed him with a revive mint. what I'm trying to say is to learn attack patterns so you can find the easiest ways to avoid them, if you memorize them well enough the battle becomes really easy

maybe just keep trying, I found Jevil difficult at first but after a few tries I managed to beat him (way easier then sans in my opinion). one of the main details about this game is Determination, if you are not willing to push yourself and keep trying then maybe don't fight an optional secret boss that is meant to be difficult.

Wrong, i jevil is completely fine and the best thing about deltarune. I woudnt even mind to raise the difficulty of the jevil fight as well as the rest of the game. every other fight is way to easy and with the jevil fight i had fun for the first time.

I agree with this in a sense, I think that games should most certainly have more difficulty as a challenge for skilled players, but it shouldn't impede on casual players. this is why I hope Toby Fox adds a hard mode (and finishes it) for deltarune similar to the one from undertale but of course, finished
