WTF IS A PIPIS!?

I'M TRYING TO FIND THE ANSWER AND ALL I FIND IS THAT IT'S EITHER A CLAM OR A ROOM!! BUT WHAT IS IT IN THE CONTEXT OF THIS GAME!!!!???? IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Okay, well if not "Pipis" then what do you think that those blue dots should have been called instead, then?

What would be a good alternative name, other than "Pipis"?

I'm sure there's plenty that would work just as well for such an unusual creature but something had to be chosen.

when you check it in-game it says it's ""the original" an invasive species of freshwater clam". it also says "pipis" as flavor text

Ok so it is a clam then? I thought it was strange relation to have a salesman like character that shoots clam so I was looking for an answer that made more sense.
