Padlock solution?

Does anyone know the 4-digit code solution to the padlocked door by the chair near the start where you get the camera? I'm a bit stuck now, fairly certain the next step to progress is to get in there but I can't find the code (thought it might be one of the two dates I found but nope)

Hey I've done both of those, I'm in the main area for grandpa's house. Found 1 of 2 triangle keys to open the door, checked out the bathroom, but not really sure where to go from here. Can't open grandparents room, and there's a locked clock room I can't access. A few locked cabinets and drawers too. Got a solar medallion but not sure where that goes? Thought that would be for the cuckoo clock but doesn't work. Only thing I could think of was to find the padlock solution assuming that gives me an item, but not sure...

Tried 1968 and no luck. That was the first date I tried too. Unless my positioning is off...

In most cases, if you see a bunch of photographs on the floor/wall, it means you can take a picture and something will change/happen.

I found a note in the bathroom that says something like 8 left right (which I assumed was part of the code unless I'm stupid :P) so I'm guessing it's something you find a ways off? Then again, I am the guy who was stuck for a while until I stumbled on a doorway at the end of the one you find after hanging the picture, so there's probably a lot I'm getting wrong :P.

If your stuck in the room with a limp leg you should have noticed that your last 4 photos you took during story moments had the combination you are looking for.

Padlock is the last puzzle in the game, no point to try to unlock it until you reach this part

You wont get the code till right at the end, also the code is RNG and changes each playthrough

I dont know how true that is? Unless she guessed correctly 39daph got it unlocked within the first 30 - 45 min
