demo gone?
i wanted to play the demo again today since i saw it got updated a lot but now in my steam library instead of "play" it says "buy" and redirects me to the store page

The demo has been de-activated as it has run it's course, a new demo will become available closer to release. If you already had it downloaded you should still be able to run it directly from the install folder.

is there a way to get it early access without it being downloaded or no?

I'm stupid, browse files and launch the game directly outside of steam
Appreciate the demo ain't representative of the final product but either way it's a damn good demo haha, Good work man
