A few ran into the issue of a missing executable for the game. Just wanted to give an update to say that this has been fixed! Additionally, version 1.0.1 fixed the following:
- You should no be able to frown toward townsfolks
- Doc text reflects true price
- Other misc. tweaks to combat and more

After a several month hiatus, feature creep, and a last minute surge to the finish line, My Personal Hilopet has been officially launched to the public! Version 1.0 is available for download RIGHT NOW!

Additionally, I'd like to thank those who have the game wishlisted and have been waiting since 2021. Knowing there's been an audience waiting for the game has pushed me to work more on its development. I'll be much more transparent in future projects, and going through this process has been wonderfully rewarding. If you have questions or suggestions, feel free to drop them in the discord! I intend to continue streaming, and to continue developing games with the crew that made hilopet. As they arise, I plan to support hilopet through bug fixes, balances, and additional dialogue! (Might take a little bit of a break before I get to that, though). Additionally, I intend to start working on new titles, either in the same 'world' or similar style! I only half leaned into the physical toy quirk, and I think there's still a lot to explore there. I've considered making an Oregon Trail inspired digital handheld, building off of what I learned here. Additionally, I'd like to learn networking! So expect a multiplayer title in the queue.
