What just happened??

I had some scene where Lebsa supposedly returned from an expedition and then starts... dying? Crying? or something? She's saying the girls name over and over while coughing, the music got sad, and the daughter begins crying but I have no idea why; the words don't relate to the events lol.

Is she meant to be poisoned or something? There's some rough translation in this but this scene has me thinking it's just word salad. Is the rest of the game going to devolve into random words while events happen? I've heard the translation woes only get worse, but this is barely what I'd consider a translation. Maybe it's translated Simlish?

Follow The Right Story line path and you'll eventually find out. It's....a fairly important deal.

I mean, I don't even know how to comprehend what happened in the scene. The dialogue didn't really make any sense and seemed mostly bugged? Lebsa seems to be still alive after choking and dying to poison though so I guess my save is bugged.

She wasn't poisoned though (and definitely didn't die to it). What happens in that scene is smth else, which becomes understandable in the culmination of true route.

I recommend doing a run where you get to the end of hell's beach in exploration. If you do that, it will open up a section at the end of the game, where you learn why that inn scene happened. You need decent stats for fighting tho.
