The Lord Routes (true) ending explanation differences are insane.
After playing through the true end of the Lebsa Route on my first playthrough, I was convinced that most of the story was either lost in translation or extremely vague in the original. I was a little bummed out, feeling it was wasted potential since nothing was stated directly—such as Asbell's relationship to Lebsa, how the little Angel (your sister) relates to Lebsa/Asbell and you, and what her overarching plan was to begin with.

The route is supposedly "focused" on Lebsa, yet the game does not really clarify anything about what happened to her or who she really is. Again, I thought this might be due to the poor quality of the translation.

However, I was proven wrong after I played through the game again, this time on the Gwyneth Lord Route. I was absolutely baffled by how extremely different the explanation scene is after fighting against Lebsa. The game literally explains everything: how Lebsa relates to Asbell, how her body actually belongs to your twin sister, and what her/his plan was all along.

I understand that the Lebsa Route diverges after that to highlight Rose having a (romantic) relationship with Lebsa, which she lacks in the other two routes. But why is the whole explanation (villain monologue) before that so different and, honestly, downright gibberish in the Lebsa Route?

Not to mention how the Gywn True ending shows you in detail what happened to your mother compared to the short appearance of her giant Goddess form in the Lebsa True End.

I read that the ending went through a rewrite after release since people were mad that Lebsa was Asbell, as far as I understand it. Could this be a remnant of that unplanned and drastic change? Or am I missing something entirely?

It doesn't help that at the end the game gets confused as to what Lebsa's name is... I was utterly confused as to who "Rebessa" is meant to be until literally the very end, when I realised it's what Lebsa is actually supposed to be, Lebsa is a romanisation of the Chinese version of Rebessa (and her family name flip flops between Hand and Handel throughout). Honestly it might just be down to a lot of this game getting badly butchered in the English translation.
