What does daughters favorability do?

Any idea what this actually does? I've leveled it a few times now, but didn't notice anything in the ending resulting from that. It doesn't seem like any endings are tied to it either?

I can't confirm this, but it does seem to be relevant to whether or not you get certain "gifts" in your letter from your daughter that covers the ending sequence - which really just amounts to one more small image from a collection of possibilities that will show up in the collection on the title screen as well after you've seen them once.

It seems to be more important whether you've done well on your "father role" eval, though, so I'm not sure if there's some overlap there or if they're both required, or if I've simply got it wrong.
