Dice Battle Problem
Despite my best efforts, selecting one character, one move (atk/def/heal) and selecting number dices, my actions apparently take no effect whatsoever, is that a bug or did I misunderstood something? Can someone help me?

Did you click the button on the right? You need to click to do the attack

Wait, you can finish the round without attacking? Thought it was automatically attacking... Same problem happened to me doing exploration the first time and not realizing i had to claim the items and not just skip...

Same thing for me. I did click on the button on the right and it has no effect on the other NPC at all. I get constantly damaged instead. How does this game work exactly? I even tried imitating the other NPC's rolls and nothing happened at all.

click on the dice after rolling and it should move up to in between you and your opponent's health bars. if it's a valid attack you should get a new button prompt above the chosen dice to attack along with the amount of damage you can do (or defend/heal). the button on the lower right just moves to the next turn.

From what I understood, you need a dice with a "character", an "attack" and numbered sides, that should trigger it, no? Or is there specific things needed further?

a character + numbered sides or an attack should trigger the attack button. i think your problem might be trying to select all three at once? in which case, try selecting the attack/heal/defense dice separately from the character + number dice.

what do you mean, don't I need to choose them all on at once? Only option after selecting a dice has been to end turn

when you start a game of dice, you pick three dice (with character sides, "move" sides, and blank sides) in addition to two regular dice (with number sides) which are already chosen. you roll to determine turn order, and at the beginning of your turn, you roll your dice. there are two different ways to making moves - combining characters and numbers or using the move dice.

one way to attack is by clicking one character and one to two number dice, which will move your chosen dice to the upper middle of the screen and create a new button underneath with a bit of flavor text (ie "nurse's shot" or "queen's staff" or whatever). clicking on that button directly underneath the chosen dice will launch that attack on the opponent. you can use both number dice with one character or roll again for a chance of a higher attack, etc.

another way to attack is to use the move (attack/defense/heal) dice. as far as i know, these can only be used individually and on their own. if you try to attack using a character dice, a number dice, and a move dice all at once, it won't work. if you want to change a dice you've chosen, click it again to move it back to the board. you can make attacks until you're out of dice or have no more valid moves to make per turn (you can roll your dice multiple times in a turn). if these ways still don't work you might be experiencing a bug of some kind.

there might be more ways to attack using dice but in my experimentation i found that only combining characters + numbers or just using move dice has worked. btw, if you roll while you've have dice chosen, it will only roll the dice on the board, so you can save "good" rolls and try for better rolls that way.

I realised the problem. The attacks that you can do appears as a very hard to notice text, that's why I didn't even notice when they appeared. Thanks for all the help!
